Dear Tom:

Thanks for sending me the samples of your Duro-Care products. I'm sorry it took so long for me to get around to actually trying them. A combination of holidays, storms, and out-of-town guests slowed me down.

I first tried the Duro-Clean and Duro-Finish on a white vinyl seat in my neighbor's C-Dory fishing boat. The boat is kept in the water behind our houseboat. It is about seven years old and the seats have never been cleaned before. Obviously they were quite dirty and made for a good test of the products. I only cleaned one of the two seats so that we could compare them later. I must say it did an admirable job. We went sturgeon fishing last Saturday and my neighbor saw the seat for the first time since I cleaned it a few weeks ago. He was very impressed. Now he wants me to do the other one! I'm enclosing before and after pictures of the seat so that you can see the results for yourself. I'm not even going to label them as its pretty obvious which one is which.

Two weeks ago we had guests from England. Since we had just sold our other car, I had to drive them around in our 1983 Maxima which has 170,000 miles on it and looks it! My wife insisted that I clean up the car before they arrived. The dash was so dirty that it looked as if it was covered with black soot. It took about fifteen minutes to clean and finish the dash and the vinyl at the top of all four doors. My wife, who is a neatness freak couldn't believe it when she saw the results. The parts I treated look absolutely new! The sheen is really a nice improvement.

Having had such good results with the boat and the car, I now have the confidence to tackle our expensive Norwegian chair and ottoman. I'll let you know how they turn out.

Thanks again for a really good product. By the way my neighbor hooked sturgeon over six feet long that day!
